Land Activities
We are very proud of the variety of activities that we offer at Sparrow Lake Camp. Below you can read a little about some of the "on land" activities that we offer. All sessions are supervised by our qualified staff and are designed to engage, teach and nurture our campers in the outdoors.
Challenge Ropes Course
We have a very vibrant and exciting challenge program at Sparrow Lake Camp! We have both a High Ropes Course (including a Climbing Wall) and a Low Ropes Course built and inspected yearly by Challenges Unlimited. Our ropes staff are trained challenge course instructors and course inspectors.
Our safe and exciting program encourages campers to try new things and take risks (when they are ready).
Sports and Games
Come play volleyball on our beach court or in the water, baseball and kickball in the diamond, soccer on the field, basketball in the courts and much more!
W.O.W (Wonders of Wilderness)
Our WOW staff take children into the woods and teach them all about the forest that surrounds them. Learn skills to make camping and hiking easier as well as an appreciation for nature and the wonders of the forest.
Discovery
Discovery is the Christian component of our daily programming. Children who chose to participate in the Discovery sessions will learn about themselves and their faith through indepth study of nature and their place in it. Discovery is a high energy and action packed program filled with hikes, games, art projects, and self-discovery.
